We have extensive experience in manufacturing picket fences and gates to many traditional styles. We are also able to construct fences or gates to match any traditional or contemporary design that you desire.

At Perth Picket Fencing we only use premium materials for construction. Our preference is to use Jarrah pickets, which result in a much higher quality finish and add longevity to the fence or gate.

A treated pine structure is used for the fence, with the standard post size being 90x90mm, but with 120mm posts also available. Our standard rail size is 90x45mm. The rail provides added strength to the fence. We also concrete our posts in to provide greater strength and longevity to the fence.

Only stainless steel decking screws are used. We do not use nails as they are not structurally sound over the long term. The stainless steel screws also eliminate the possibility of rust stains which can sometimes be seen in older picket fences.

A painting service is also available to protect and beautify your new fence or gate. Fencing or gate panels can be painted on site or prior to installation in our workshop. The pickets can be painted in the traditional white or in a colour combination of your choice to best match your home. Painting of the fence or gate includes:

• Filling of screw holes and minor defects of the timber
• 2 coats of a top quality sealer/undercoat
• 3 coats of top coat paint in a colour of your choice
